(Jürinin seyirci sosyal medya ödülü için seçmiş olduğu fotoğraflar, 22 Mart günü ODTÜ instagram hesabından seyirci oyuna sunulacaktır.)

Kategoriler: Yarışmacılar, yarışma konusunun içerik ve teknik şartlarını aşmadan belgesel, yaratıcı estetik, soyut, kavramsal veya kurgu fotoğraf stilleriyle katılabilir. Dijital, manipülatif veya kolaj olarak düzenlenen fotoğraflar elenecektir.
Fotoğraf Başvuru Kılavuzu:
- Yarışmacılar en fazla iki eser gönderebilirler.
- Tüm fotoğrafçılar çalışmalarını çevrimiçi ve dijital olarak göndermelidir.
- Yarışmacılar çevrimiçi başvuru sırasında 6 haneli rumuz kullanmaları ve bu rumuzu aynı zamanda fotoğrafın isimlerine de eklemelidirler.
Her başvuru şunları içermelidir:
- Rumuz olarak kullanılacak 6 haneli bir rakam (Sadece “isimsiz” ya da “dosya adı 1, 2” gibi veya buna benzer başka bir isimlendirme kabul edilemez)
- Fotoğraftaki rumuz ile başvuru formundaki rumuz eşleşmelidir.
- Varsa fotoğrafın adı dosya adına eklenmelidir.
Örnek Başvuru:
- 6 haneli rumuz ve isimsiz: 675986_isimsiz
- 6 haneli rumuz ve isimlendirilmiş fotoğraf (bir başvuru): 675986_Su

Koşullar:
- Fotoğraflar siyah-beyaz veya renkli olabilir.
- Fotoğrafların gönderilen dijital versiyonları jpeg uzantılı, yüksek kalitede sıkıştırılmış, RGB formatında olmalı; 4 MB’ı aşmamalıdır. Fotoğrafların genişliği veya uzunluğu (görselin yatay veya dikey oluşuna göre) en az 1920 piksel olmalıdır.
- Ödüle layık görülen eserlerin yarışmadan sonra yüksek çözünürlüklü, sıkıştırılmamış, orijinal versiyonları talep edilecektir.
- Yarışmaya gönderilen eserin üzerinde hiçbir şekilde imza, damga vb. işaretleme yapılmamış olmalıdır.
- Fotoğraflar üzerinde yalnızca basit renk düzenlemeleri yapılmasına izin verilmekte olup, onun dışında her türlü dijital manipülasyon ve Photoshop gibi programlar aracılığıyla yapılacak düzenlemeler yasaktır.
- Gönderilen fotoğrafların EXIF bilgileri (örneğin dpi ve piksel bilgileri gibi) bozulmamış, düzenlenmemiş, değiştirilmemiş olmalıdır.
- Fotoğraflar hiçbir şekilde bir başkasının haklarını (gizlilik hakkı, kişilik hakkı, fikri mülkiyet hakkı veya herhangi bir şekilde telif hakkı gibi) ihlal etmemelidir.
- Yarışmaya gönderilen fotoğraflar tümüyle eser sahibine ait orijinal bir çalışma olmalıdır.
- Eser sahibi, fotoğrafıyla ilgili gerekli doğru bilgileri paylaşmakla yükümlüdür.
- Teknik ve içerik açısından belirtilen şartları sağlayamayan eserler yarışma dahilinde değerlendirmeye alınmayacaktır.
- Katılımcılar, yarışma için gönderdikleri fotoğrafların tüm haklarıyla kendilerine ait olduğunu, kendileri tarafından çekildiğini, bunun için gerekli tüm izinleri almış olduklarını beyan etmiş sayılırlar. Başkasının fotoğrafının kullanılması sonucunda ortaya çıkabilecek telif hakkı ihlali kaynaklı problemlerin tüm hukuki sorumluluğu ilgili katılımcıya aittir.
- ODTÜ yarışma için gönderilen fotoğrafları tanıtım amacıyla çeşitli kitap, dergi, gazete, web sitesi, sergi, sosyal medya platformu veya diğer tanıtım kampanyaları dahilinde kullanabilme hakkını saklı tutar.
- Katılımcılar yarışmayla ilgili yukarıda belirtilmiş bütün kuralları ve hükümleri okumuş, anlamış ve kabul etmiş sayılırlar.

Categories: Contestants can participate with documentary, fine art, abstarct conceptual or staged photograph styles without exceeding the content and technical conditions of the subject of the competition. Photographs edited as digital, manipulative or collage will be eliminated.
Image Submission Guidelines:
- Contestants may submit a maximum of two entries.
- All photographers must submit their work online and digital.
- Contestants must use the 6-digit nickname they used during the online application, as well as naming the photographs.
Each entry must include:
- A concise title of 6 digit number as nickname (“untitled” or “file number, 1-2” is not acceptable)
- Nickname on digital photo entry must match the entry form.
- If there is, the name of the photo should be added to the name of the file.
Sample Application:
- 6 digit nickname and untitled: 675986_untitled
- 6 digit nickname and named photo (for one entry): 675986_Water
- 6 digit number and named (for two entry): 675986_Water; 675986_WaterandKid
Conditions:
- Photographs may be black & white or color.
- Digital files submitted must be saved as jpeg, compression HIGH, in RGB format and not exceed 4MB. The photographs must be at least 1,920 pixels wide or tall (if the image is horizontal or vertical, respectively).
- High-resolution, uncompressed, and original versions of the awarded works will be requested after the competition.
- No signature, stamp, or any other identifying mark is allowed anywhere on the entry.
- Digital manipulation and any kind of Photoshop effects are not allowed; only basic color corrections are permitted.
- The EXIF information (such as DPI and pixel information) of the photographs uploaded to the system must be kept intact, unedited, and unaltered.
- The photograph must not contain material that violates or infringes another person’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or anything that constitutes copyright infringement.
- The photograph must, in its entirety, be a single work of original material taken by the contestant.
- The photographer has the liability for providing accurate information.
- The works that do not meet the technical and content specifications will be eliminated from the competition.
- The contestants accept, declare, and undertake that the photos they send/upload for the competition belong entirely to them, that the photos were taken by them, and that all necessary permissions have been obtained. All legal responsibility of any copyright violations that may arise in case of using the images of someone else belongs to the participants.
- METU may use the submitted photographs for promotional efforts on books, websites, magazines, newspapers, exhibitions, mobile media, and all relevant PR campaigns.
- Participants are deemed to have declared that they have thoroughly read, understood, and accepted all the terms, conditions and rules related to the competition.
